Everything we enjoy comes from God as a generous gift (James 1:17).  When we see how much He gives us that we could never earn and don’t deserve, the only proper response is gratitude and worship.  No one can outgive God (Romans 11:35).  

God’s indescribable gift of Jesus (2 Corinthians 9:15) has changed us, so we no longer live for ourselves, but for Him who died for us (2 Corinthians 5:15).  Our giving to God is not from obligation or a sense of repaying any debt.  We give to God and to what God wants to do through KCC in Georgina and across the globe as our expression of deepest gratitude and commitment to Him. 

Giving to God’s church is not a “payment for services” or even a “donation.”  God delights in the voluntary, joy-filled worship of a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7).  When we give this way, we say, “Lord, You and your Kingdom priorities are what I treasure most.” (Matthew 6:21, 33).  And when we give like that, we’ll experience how it really is “more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35).
